Working in partnership with Kids Klub, a market leader in providing Outdoor Activity Holidays for Children, CSLA students assist instructors to run a wide variety of exciting outdoor activities. A fantastic opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills in a real working environment. CSLA students will be expected to take an active role in leading and assisting activity sessions for European and UK Kids Klub Groups. Upon successful completion of the programme students will be provided with recruitment details for summer work in America with the YMCA and with Kids Klub in the UK.

CSLA Voluntary Hours. (Unit 8) An Unforgettable Three-Day Residential Experience.
The programme includes:

Training in working with children, risk assessments and safety procedures.
|
|
|
Support and training on how to deliver all activities. All British Sports Trust Leaders will be supervised in accordance with British Sports Trust policy.
|
|
|
A dedicated and experienced mentor will be allocated to work with students to ensure that they are confident and equipped to lead safe activity sessions. Mentors provide students with valuable feedback on their performance during and upon completion of the programme.

|
|
At least ten hours of experience leading either UK or European Kids Klub groups of children (although it is often more). Due to the intensity of the programme the maximum group size is 15.

Completed Log Books.
