The Junior Sports Leaders Award gives students an appreciation of what is required to lead an effective sports session. KIub Xperience is accredited to run a one week intensive JSLA course.
 

Why should all schools encourage students to complete the JSLA?
 

The JSLA can contribute to elements of the attainment targets for the National Curriculum for PE at Keystage 4.
 

Contributes towards the service section of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
 

OFSTED Inspectors have commented on the numerous benefts of delivering the awards at Keystage 4.
 

The Junior Sports Leaders Award deliberately mirrors the National Curriculum requirements that, “pupils should be involved in the continuous process of planning, performing and evaluating.”
